It is really weird how the discomfort fluctuates and you start thinking something awful is happening. My pain wasn’t unbearable but really uncomfortable. Does it seem swollen? It’s too late to phone your breast nurse. Maybe take pain relief and see how it is in the morning. I am 2 weeks post radiotherapy and 10 weeks post lumpectomy and sentinel node biopsy. Yesterday I had some discomfort right along my scar line. So weird, no pain today. It just comes and goes but you would think you would not feel anything so long after surgery.As someone said in previous post, they damage nerves during surgery and this can cause odd bouts of pain. No it’s not swollen like you said uncomfortable took some painkillers earlier and it’s eased off a bit now it just seemed strange after 5 weeks but could be like you said and healing Thankyou for your reply x
Are you still doing your exercises, whenever I stop them I find my stiffness returns. It took well over 6 weeks before my discomfort eased, I think everyone is different, I had a hematoma and once that dissipated I felt much better. Worth speaking to you BC nurse to put your mind at rest x
