Hair growth

Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you had treatment for breast cancer back in 2019.  I didn't have a problem with my hair growing back when I finished chemo however I thought I'd reply to you as I noticed you haven't had any replies yet.  My reply should move you up to the top of the discussion and hopefully someone will be along soon with your experience of hair regrowth after chemo.

I’ve only just finished chemo so I don’t know how my hair is going to be but there is a really good charity which advises on cancer/hair care that you can call for advice - www.cancerhaircare - I’d suggest having a look at their site and maybe giving them a ring.

It can happen, but sometimes it can be the hormone therapy that causes thinning too. If you are on hormone therapy minoxidil helps 4 out of 5 women, but you have to use it daily for 4 months to find out. I think theres a website called cancer hair care that might be able to help. Also the wig shops are really good at advising when our hair is growing back and how to manage all the challenges that come with that

Hi, I would echo all of the above.  Cancer Hair Care have been very helpful at giving me advice. I have added Rosemary extract to me hair shampoo which had no additional scent.  I have made a massage oil again which they advised. I massage my scalp daily.
