I know I’ve found this subject (before I started on zoladronic acid) but can’t find it now! Just want to know how people have fared having this 6 monthly to help bones….
Thank you! My next one is April too! I had mine along with my last phesgo injection so did feel rough a couple of days later. Bones ached, diarrhoea and once again foul taste in mouth. I’ve learnt to cope with that and try to walk regularly for at least 40 mins to ease the bone ache. I wish you well xx
Hi, I am due to have my third infusion in two weeks. The first one was a bit like the proper flu (aches, tiredness but no fever) and I slept it off over a period of about 36 hours. I took paracetamol. Same effects the second time, but not quite as sleepy. Certainly bone and muscle ache, but again 36hrs. Sorry to hear that you still don’t feel well. X
I'm due my 4th next month. I haven't noticed many side effects at all. A little more tired perhaps, and my mood dips for about a week, but other than that, fairly uneventful.
Pleased for you. I guess we’re told what we MIGHT suffer and expect it to happen and when it doesn’t it’s such a relief! Nowhere nr as bad as chemo effects!
Get my 7th on Dec 18th that will be my last …yah ! Feel a bit ropey for about week have had some gum pain similar to sinus pain also some aches and pains .All quite manageable thank god .
