Hi - previously had bc 13 years ago - lumpectomy and hormone therapy and been clear since.

6 weeks ago found new lump - has been biopsied along with lymph nodes as I think they saw something in there (nobody told me why) just 3 weeks now. Went for ct scan 2 weeks ago and now out of the blue have been referred for pet scan. Tried to get in touch with dr or breast care nurse to finds out why but nobody has got back to me. I have had back ache for a while but they didn’t get to that into that at the clinic. Is this just routine or do they know something I dont

im destroyed and can’t eat/ sleep/ or stop crying for worrying

Hi Ev71, sorry that you are dealing with something now snd no answers yet. The waiting and not hearing is an emotional drain and can make you feel sick too. I would keep on calling and if no call back ask for the office manager and let him/ her know your issues. It just isn’t acceptable and makes me so angry. With these tests being ordered they could at least keep you informed. Take care snd hugs to you.

Sorry to hear that you are dealing with the possibility that your cancer has come back. Keep trying to get in touch with your doctor and your breast care nurse.
