Mastectomy dressing

Had my mastectomy on Thursday and have been given a 14 day pico dressing. Anyone got any experience of these? Does it hurt when it gets taken off?

I had a PICO dressing when I had a lumpectomy back in April. It felt no different being taken off than an ordinary dressing.

I had 2 picos as I had a double mastectomy. It didn’t hurt at all coming off. Just like removing a plaster.

How are you feeling .

I have been told I will have Pico dressings on when I have my op in 4 weeks .

Hi, I'm feeling ok thanks, the Pico dressing is fine and only been woken up by its beeping a few times. Good luck with the op x
