Hi I just wonder whether anybody could recommend any retreats in the UK. I just feel I need to get away and spend some time by myself. Any suggestions?
HI MissMolly
I notice your post has gone unanswered and although I don't know of any retreats, by replying it will bring it back to first page and hopefully someone will be around at the moment who can suggest one for you.
Best Wishes,
Lesley
Hi, I needed one of these. I craved to go to a hotel with a garden overlooking the sea, so I could just rest on a lounger, be with my own thoughts, and someone could make me a cup of tea. I didn’t find a retreat, but sort of made one of my own by finding a little holiday flat that did have direct views to the sea. It also had a lovely secluded front garden with a bench to sit on, that also overlooked the sea. I didn’t cook, but had my morning cuppa and a scone in a cafe garden on the Promenade, and had fish and chips for tea. I stayed 2 nights, and felt like I had been away for a week. It was summer, so I could walk gently and feed the ducks. But mostly I just sat quietly, I hope you find something. X
