Warm comfy socks...feet get cold.  You will be face down in the machine with your boobs hanging in the holes...it's not glamorous....lot of noise and you get to choose some music which you cannot hear.   It'll be fine don't worry.  Xx

I think I had trousers on that they gave me.  Take the socks though.  Its really the strangest thing having your breasts hanging but it means you don't feel claustrophobic 

It's just noisy... it is quite rhythmic, dont let it scare you with the noise.  Focus on your music

Ok Thankyou and the contrast stuff I’ve read can make u feel like u have wet yourself is this true? 

Oh yes it does...its very strange.  Same with CT Scan.  It is literally 2 seconds though

I found it quite fascinating a machine.   It's an invention from years ago but it has not changed much.

I wore trousers without a zip which was fine. I didn't find it as claustrophobic as the MRI scan on my head a few years ago.
