Hi everyone,

I am a few months into taking letrazole - and now have the aches in my fingers.

Does anyone have any advice on this?

And I don't know if I am imagining this, but I seem to feel the cold more - that's a strange one!

Good luck to everyone,...

  • Hi

after a few months I found my whole body ached mainly my hjps knees and fingers , worsened I think by the fact I have fibromyalgia and arthritis , but the worst bit was I was extremely dizzy and felt faint most of the time , I Also feel the cold more , the surgeon decided to take me off them for 3 weeks ti make sure it is the tablets.  If so to I will try a different one , I hope this helps a bit :) good luck with your journey x

  • Hi, I think it's petty normal for letrozole to cause some stiffness as it blocks oestrogen, which is like the oil for our joints. Some people find a different brand is worth trying so perhaps chat to your pharmacist about that. Best wishes

  • Hi

Started taking them about 4 weeks ago and experiencing bone pain from the waist down. I'm also find that if I have a nap my fingers feel strange!

    Good luck x

  • Hi Purplepen, I have been on letrozole for 10 months now and yes I do get the shivers and feel the cold. I also have muscle joint and nerve pains in my shoulders, arm muscles and hands. I have lost grip so drop things all the time. I have lost count of the number of plates I have dropped and broken when washing up!

I had my first massage yesterday from a sports injury therapist. It seems to have freed things up a bit today although that could be a temporary semi reprieve. I have asked the pharmacist to try me with a different brand next month as the additives do vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.

If the symptoms become unmanageable, do speak to your BCN.
