Hi everyone hello . Just have breast cancer operation on both breast in JuneI'm I'm starting radiotherapy this Thursday but I'm worried sick about taking tamoxifen there are so many side effects . It said I can't take turmic also there are risk when taken with Amitriptyline. I had early changes in my 40s due to full hysterectomy and I have gone though the manspause at 57 now I'm 64 any idears what to do.

Hi I’m 63 and taking letrozole accord brand. Why Carnt you take that Xx. Ask the question xx

I did not look at letrozole I was waiting GP to advise me b4 they send me the medication

I think they might put you on letrozole. That seems to be what you get when your post menopause I'm 50 and was put on Tamoxifen it's actually OK for me. Some side effects but nothing too bad. Hope get sorted with something to suit you.xx

Ring your breastcare nurse and tell them your not sure about tamoxifen and what other tablets are on offer. They all have side effects Ihave found letrozole accord brand the best upto now!! I didn’t want tamoxifen xx
