Hi my 1st outpatient appointment tomorrow after being referred by breast screening department. The nurse at breast screening mentioned that they will probably give me a date for my lumpectomy at this appointment. Did this happen to any else please.
Hi Poucha, was a little different for me as I live in US. Had to have bilateral ultrasound and MRI to both breasts. After all that information was collected I got the date. From what I have been seeing on this forum, MRI done not seem to be done routinely.

Hi Poucha
I got my date for lumpectomy at this appointment. I didn’t have an MRI but had couple of procedures prior to my op. I had a tiny marker/transmitter inserted into the tumour a week before op and then a radioactive injection day before which helps surgeon find the sentinel lymph node. All went well so good luck tomorrow.
