I want to find out if there is a connection between Letrozole or other breast cancer medications and heart conditions. It appears as a side effect but wanted to know how common it is.
I survived Breast Cancer last year, stage 1, three lymph nodes removed and a lumpectomy. I do not wish to cause worry and put it out there now that my family has an awful track recor with heart issues, mums had 5 heart attacks, she's now 90 and still with us and my brother had two before he was 40.
I have been on Letrozole since last November and have started to collapse/fall for no reason, no dizziness, nothing, just standing then I'm on the floor wondering what the heck has happened. I have been told it's likely to be the electrical wiring in my heart malfunctioning, it skips a beat, I drop and starts again, thankfully.
I can see heart issues can be a side effect of Letrozole, but highly unlikely and I know I am overthinking due to worry (it's a specialist skill of mine) but I would welcome an opinions, experiences or view points, if for nothing else to put my mind at rest.
