I had a mx and node removal 11days ago. I had pain soreness around drain, really hurt when it came out ( nurse said doesn’t usually hurt) the pain hasn’t gone a week later. It’s worse , was intermittent but has got worse since dressings removed yesterday. Pain killers not touching it, only thing that helps is pressing on it quite hard with heart cushion. Can’t sleep as it’s seems worse and constant. No redness etc around the wound. Spoke to breast nurse this morning who thought it might be fluid or maybe a nerve and wasn’t overly concerned. I’m getting a bit panicked now and the pain is awful. Anyone had this.
