ER - PR+

Hey,

Had lumpectomy and 3 axillary lymph nodes removed 2 weeks ago. Pathology results have come back ER-, PR+ and Her2 +. Doctor has advised hormone therapy after radiation, but i have read that hormone therapy does not help for ER- . Would appreciate any insight or advice please

The hormone treatment works for progesterone positive cancers too.

Hi N1kk1,

I was diagnosed firstly with triple negative and had chemo, lumpectomy and radiotherapy. I was then informed that I was actually slightly positive for progesterone and I'm on Letrozole for 5 years.
