I'm now beginning my fifth week recovery from surgery (mastectomy and reconstruction) and have developed a couple of itchy tiny blister-like spots along my abdomen scar line. Anyone else had this? The E45 cream doesn't seem to stop the itching, nor does germoline. Anyone have any advice on products to use?

I'm assuming it's just things still getting back to normal in my body......

I haven’t had any itchy bits but E45 does an itch relief version, which I have used in the past and it was very good. Also have seen Aveeno recommended on here for other things.

Hi Aveeno is good also an antihistamine cream or tablet can stop itching and pure aloe Vera gel. When having radiotherapy I kept some in the fridge found it was really cooling and stopped itching. Good luck x

Ooo.. That's a handy tip, it looks like I might be having quite a bit of radiotherapy as the chemotherapy wasn't very effective, so that is very useful, thank you. x
