i have my pre chemo chat tomoz do they just discuss your up and coming treatment, side effects etc or do they go through your prognosis and pathology aswell ? Bit nervous not knowing what to expect
No they don’t usually…it was a nurse from the chemo unit did mine….just makes sure you’ve signed all your consent forms…showed me round unit…gave me a wig voucher….did my weight and height ( chemo drugs dose are often weight dependent)….took my pre chemo bloods …took a bit of a history…allergies etc…then I went back the next day for my first chemo…the appointment was about 40 mins
