Hard to believe that one year has already passed since my diagnosis and treatment, had my first annual mammogram, anxious wait for results letter, came three weeks later and said my mammogram showed "no worrying features". Huge relief, though the wording seemed strange but I suppose they can't say "All clear 100%". Been on letrozole eight months now, despite the insomnia and joint pains, but hopefully the AI is doing what it's supposed to!
Best wishes to all xx
Yeah Eline. So happy for you as stressful time for sure. The AI are supposed to work to reduce estrogen and the side effects can be a nuisance for sure. I am on anastrazole and only have been taking it for 2months. I get a little fatigued now and again and have dry mouth at night. No joint pains and I sleep really good but when I wake up it feels like my lips are stuck together and no moisture in my mouth. I go for my mammogram in August and I am hoping that all is well. Thinking healing thoughts every day. Keep up the good work and just think you have been on Letrozole a year already.
