EC followed by Paclitaxel and hair loss

I don't know if your hair would fall out with paclitaxel - it is one of the side effects, but I think it is less harsh on your follicles. If you have kept most of your hair and could cold cap, you might even see your hair begin growing again and need a haircut! I managed with heat pads and I used to take in a hot water bottle to sit on my lap and I took in a thick coat to put over my knees. If you are chilly they have things to help. The other thing is that once your chemo premeds go in, you will be drowsy and probably sleep on and off through the whole thing so it won't feel like 5 hours. x

Pax much easier. For me I haven’t even noticed I have had chemo. I come home and have a quick nap, then carry on as normal. Good luck with yours x

My hair fell out on my birthday,  when I had EC, exactly 14 days after the treatment. 

1. My hair was thin from having Lupus, but if you have thick hair, you might get away with your new drug. Fingers crossed it goes well for you. X
