Bony hard lumps 1 year post masectomy

I haven't had hard bony lumps, but if you are concerned I would ring BCN like your gut is telling you to. Is just worth checking out, otherwise it will play on your mind. I have some hard lumps but  mine are just hard scar tissue that doesn't move much - at least that is what the ultrasound showed. Wishing you good luck with finding out what these lumps are. xx

I had my mastectomy in January and I do have a bony hard lump near the outer chest wall and the breast consultant said it was fat necrosis and the plastic surgeon should be able to resolve it but I haven’t had that appointment as yet. As you say, first step is to re engage and hopefully it’s nothing. But don’t leave it, you must get checked out, this is my second time around too x

Mine are as a result of fat necrosis too - I had a seroma infection and that caused the fat necrosis. The lumps I have are surprisingly hard.

Ah thanks I know that's the right thing....just couldn't face it today...but yes will ring tomorrow as otherwise it will just continue to play on my mind xx

Yes mine is really hard too.- I'm sure it's OK but every time I have had an app. with oncology/breast team never had the good news scenario ...but hey first time for everything x 

Yes lines hard too, and I have a bruised sensation around it if I touch it but it only occasionally bothers me otherwise, we’ll all get there x
