TNBC

Hi

I’m currently having weekly Paclitaxel due to TNBC and I’m managing really well at the moment, no side effects and no hair loss. I’ve only had 2 treatments to date, my next session is on Thursday.

My worry is that before I started treatment I had various scans MRI,CT & PET scans. The last scans I had were an MRI of the spine and of the liver as there was a ‘spot’ on these areas that they were unsure about. The liver scan came back as benign but the spine scan came back indeterminate! After so many scans, how do they not know?

I now have to continue with the treatment and have a further spine MRI in a few weeks to see if there are any changes to the area in question, which is the T12 vertebrae.

I’ve been told my lungs and liver are clear. So could it be in my spine and no where else? Is it possible for it to be something else? How common are spine lesions? I’m just worried sick so any advice would be good.

  • Sorry you are struggling with this. Unfortunately the medical team are the only people who can get to the bottom of it for you, but try to have faith that they do know what they are doing. It’s good you are managing the Paclitaxel well.

    i also have TNBC.
