EC chemo bad reactions

Collkaa please phone the 24 hour breast nurse line. They will look at your notes on computer and will advise what you need etc. you don’t need to be suffering like that and you might become dehydrated if your not drinking enough. There are good drugs available to keep you going through this . Take care 

Hi, so sorry to hear of your reactions, that's tough. As well as calling your breast case nurse, I'd suggest you also get a call in with your oncologist to see if they want to change anything about your dose.  Best of luck 

I vomited and was hospitalised for my first EC and they gave me stronger anyi sickness pills after that but I still felt sick for a week. I found first week pretty horrible and after that first time, I made sure I took it easy for the first few days. 

I found docetaxel much worse and my oncologist reduced the dosage for the final doses, which did help.

They didn't like that I couldn't get off the sofa for 10 days, they said that was too long.

Hopefully if you let your oncologist know, they can talk you through reducing your dosage. I had chemo before surgery and still got signifi ant shrinkage on the reduced dose.
