Hi everyone,
I am back for surgery 9 June as positive margins. I had round block (cut around areola), has anyone had this done for 2nd time? It healed really well, but worrying about 2nd surgery.
I hope everyone is having a good Bank Holiday, and all in treatment at mo are doing well.
Thanks, Karen
Hi Karen
I had a hadfields op in 2020 to remove milk ducts theycut around areola. Then in Feb this year I had lumpectomy, node removal and then breast reduction both sides which meant moving nipples so cutting around areola again. 4 months on scar is healing well still quite pink but looks good. I have no feeling though on that nipple now but thats a small price to pay as could have lost it. Good luck with your op...
Hi Karen
i had my first op in January and my second in March due to the margins and not getting it all the first time. I actually healed better after the second operation.
good luck with the op xx
