Hello, I had my surgery on the 20th May and my dressing was changed yesterday. A lot of the steristrips needed replacing due to being a bit moist but there wasn’t any sign of infection. This morning there’s some leakage on the dressing and I wondered if this was normal? It was really sore yesterday after being manhandled to get the dressing in place. Thank you, I’m so worried about everything lately.

it’s not unusual to have a bit of leakage particularly after what happened yesterday. Just keep an eye on it and if it gets any worse contact your medical team.
