Hi all. I had my first herceptin injection in the thigh yesterday, with minimal side effects. I have just noticed, however, a dark line running downwards from my navel, exactly like the one I had in pregnancy. It is called a linea nigra. Anyone else had this innocuous but odd side effect and does anyone know why herceptin could cause this?
Many thanks and good luck to all of you on your journeys.
Hi Jasa, I'm afraid I'm not able to offer any insight, I just wanted to reply as I saw no-one has and me doing so will put your post back to the top.
Take care, Jo
Morning Jasa,
I had my first Phesgo injection yesterday which includes herceptin, I have no dark line on my stomach, but I do have and all over body rash/ tan, but not itchy, I’m thinking it’s just one of thosengs and will eventually fade after treatment finishes
take care D xx
That's interesting... I started Phesgo infusions last Thursday. My side effect seems to be numb and tingling feet. It seems that the side effects are as individual as we are.
Yes I was forewarned of the numb and tingly hands and feet but so far nothing, the rash seems to have faded as the days gone on. So far I feel pretty good but I know I may feel crapper once I start the daily injections tomorrow. How have you managed on the daily injects Dilly? Xx
