I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year i had a double lumpectomy, intense radiotherapy and currently taking letrozole
a few weeks ago I found a lump on the same breast I got in touch with the clinic after ultrasound and a biopsy it turns out I have fibrosis , my breast is tender on this lump
my question
what has caused this? Will it spread? Should I be worried?
Hi, this is just scar tissue and is unlikely to change one year on from treatment. If you find any new areas or lumps in the future, they should be checked out in the same way. I don't think there is anything to worry about. If you need further clarification you can ask your BCN.
