I have triple negative BC but have had the genetic testing and they have come back negative.
What does this mean? There is lots of info online about being gene positive but none of negative results.
Has anyone else had these results?
Yeah. Look on page 5, at the end of the second paragraph, it tells you the percentage of the population who carry the mutation, which is one quarter of one percent. Not everyone who carries the mutation will develop cancer, and the majority of people who do have breast cancer do not have the mutation.
