I've had 7 Herceptin injections so far, with 11 to go. Chemo finished on the 9th Feb and radiotherapy on the 8th March.
Im finding that when I'm out walking, particularly up hill I'm getting really breathless. My partner and I do a lot of walking and it's really getting me down. I'm also asthmatic so that doesn't help either. Anyone else finding this? It is in the list of side effects.
Yes I spoke to my BCN by telephone for a review on Friday. I had an echo on Tuesday and my results from that are fine, so I know it's not my heart. I did mention the breathless feeling and she said it could still be the effects of the chemo, but I think it's got worse over the past couple of weeks. She's told me to contact them again if it doesn't improve.
I have my injections done by a private company my trust use so I'm monitored quite well every 3 weeks.
Im going for a blood pressure check with my Gp this week so I will mention it to them too.
