I am eating and drinking but feeling like I want to be sick all the time is not good.
Also I am having to work out taste buds as I don't like any cordials now and yesterday afternoon i was sick of water. Going to send other half to shops to get me a mixture of drinks to see if any I like.
Chemo nurse said just write everything down and doctor can adjust medicines next time ...hope so xx
It's whole new world bless you. I got the flush face and torso.my BC nurse said it was most likely the steroids and it's those that can cause a moon face. I guess it depends on type of chemo too. I took some movicol sachets for constipation which helped they said it was the anti sickness meds that caused that Are you having to do the 5 injections for white blood cells? again depends on your planned treatment I imagine. Hope you feel better soon. We have to go through this and fight on . One of the hardest things is to pace yourself and not over do it.

when i had full body scan they saw a have furring of oesophagus , asked it could eat of swollow ,,,, yes i replied but i get sesation of like food or tablets stucks but not , if i was 60+ yrs i would get refurred but because im 49+ 1 am not i will ask if i can be refurred or place on list as might cause futher issues later
phoned treatment team on card said paracetmols or slight stronger meds and they will contact out of hours for me if needed
a slice of lemon in water can cut through the nausea and wierd taste. I ended up drinking bottled water through chemo, though took a while to find a brand I liked. I also tried fruit teas and liked the feel new (fennel one) and the berry ones. I think its very particular to you and your taste buds. I didn't get on with ginger, though I know some do.
If nausea intolerable they can give you a long acting antisickness tablet like akynzeo before your next one. it lasts about 5 days and worked wonders for me. The other classic thing to cause nausea is stomach irritation from your steroids. Would defo ask about longer acting antisickness. You can take top up antisickness tabs on top if you need them x
