I'm now six weeks post finishing chemo ( 3x EC and 3x DC) and still have bone pains in my legs back and worst of all my ribs. Some days it feels it improving then it all seems to come back.
Has anyone else had this problem post chemo?.
Xx
I have muscle aches and pains esp in my thighs, but also my upper arms. My ribs ached on and off since surgery. My oncologist told me it can take a few months for the inflammation from chemo to settle down. I always mention aches and pains to my oncologist as I never know whether it is normal or not, or my BCN if I don't have an oncology appointment soon enough.
Hi Bobbiboo,
Yes I find I´m achey/stiff especially after lying or sitting down for a bit and ache in my hips, legs and back. Once I´m moving around it feels better.
I´m not sure if this is down to chemo or because chemo has thrown me into menopause and the aches are a result of that?
