tamoxifen

Hi  I to have been told 10 years ,maybe a good thing as they are saying your going to be around more than 5,I don't know

I have been told ten as I was lymph node positive and am pre-menopausal, so higher recurrence risk.

Think it will depend on your age and other treatment. I've been told hormone treatment for 5 years (I chose zoladex and exemestane rather than tamoxifen) but I have chemo too

I had lumpectomy 2 weeks ago and was given tamoxifen yesterday. He said it was for10 years. My cancer was grade 1 stage 1 and radium treatment which I’m not sure yet how much. Hope it s not too bad x
