Good Morning everyone, is anyone else just totally bone weary? I haven't even started chemo yet and I only managed to work one day this week, I had a few shops to go to yesterday and took my little Doggo for a short walk and today I feel like I've run a marathon. Any tips on how to improve my energy levels? Hope everyone manages to get out in the sunshine for a bit this weekend xx️

  • Hi, sorry to hear you are feeling so worn out. I think we use a lot more energy than we realize when we are worried.  My advice is to walk a little every day, even only 10 mins, but maybe trying that once or twice a day.  Getting out really helped me for sure.  Hope this helps x

  • Am so sorry to hear you are feeling exhausted. You are going through so much and being diagnosed with cancer can be hard to process and I think that makes us tired too. Cancer fatigue is a real thing and I have definitely felt crushingly exhausted along the way. I found that light exercise and getting out of the house in the fresh air really helped me. Also just listening to my body and napping in the day when needed. I also had friends and family who helped me with home made ready meals and soups, and even had a family member who helped me with cleaning once a week. Do you have some people who could ease your way with a little help at home too? I really hope that your tiredness lifts a little for you and that those close to you can support you too. Thinking of you.
