Found a very large lump and in bits

Hi Zoee, welcome to the forum but sorry you find yourself here. Firstly, the majority of breast lumps and bumps are not cancer, so try not to go straight into panic mode (though of course most of us do). Secondly, have you booked a GP appointment yet? That’s the first essential step, make sure you say that it’s for a breast lump so that it’s treated as urgent. Please do that now if you haven’t already. We can all speculate about what it might be but you just need to get it examined by a medic. The next step will very likely be to refer you to a breast clinic where they’ll find out what it is.

There’s really no short cut, it will be horrible waiting to see your GP then (probably) waiting to go to the breast clinic but you need to know so get the ball rolling! 

And I’ll just repeat for good measure, most lumps and bumps are not cancer. Get that appointment sorted and keep us posted. Sending a big virtual hug your way, whatever your outcome this community will be here for you with support and shared experiences. HFxx

Try to stay positive until you get seen and have tests you must try not to guess. It is the waiting which is so hard. Even in the worst scenario the fact you are doing something to get sorted is a positive move. Can sometimes be a muscular problem so try not to worry but please go and get checked out. I have had a freak out moment but calmed down now …. NHS111 a Dr has called me and says I need to be seen urgently - the waiting is awful   Thanks for all ur advice x

It’s only on one side and then only half the boob so 3 inches as I did think that 

Doesn't sound like a breast lump but needs checking out.  I can't imagine a rigid breast lump to large  would appear so suddenly. Dont want to state the obvious but could it be a rib that you are feeling .
