Hi all, I'm new to this forum. I had surgery for breast cancer in June followed by 8 rounds of chemo and 15 radiotherapy sessions which finished end Feb. I thought i was over the worst and was very blase about my Zoletronic acid injection last week. But 2 days after treatment i started to get a raging headache and then a sore weepy left eye. I feel really rubbish, made worse because i wasnt really prepared for it! Anyone else had this - how long does it last?? And is there anything i can do other than take painkillers and sit in a darkened room?
Thank you. i ended up in A&E over Easter (great timing) as my knees then swelled up making it difficult to walk. Blood pressure OK, blood tests OK. So sent home to rest and take painkillers. Just a be asking lots of questions before second dose!
Hi, I had it hit me like a bad flu for about 12 hours. Very weird as I was also quite blasé and not expecting anything……I have my second one in a few months, dreading it!
