I am having a lumpectomy tomorrow afternoon and I’ve been told the surgery will probably be around 3:00 I had an injection in my breast at 9:30 this morning but I’m panicking as I think the injection was too early and all trace of it will have disappeared out of my body before my surgery. Has anyone had any experience of the injection where it has been more than 24 hours before their surgery? I’m worried that the surgeon won’t be able to find my lymph nodes.
