Hi I am feeling very tired over the last week or so and I haven't had my op yet! As soon as I sit down I sleep for about 2 hours. Is this normal? Xx
Hi Moo
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with breast cancer. It’s not unusual to feel tired after a cancer diagnosis particularly with all the tests you have to have when you’re first diagnosed so that your medical team can decide which is the best treatment for you.
Wishing you the best of luck with your operation when you have it.
Best wishes

Hi, sorry your feeling so exhausted. I’ve ad my op and now waiting for chemo. I also feel exhausted all the time even though recovering well. I really think the mental load is enormous, suddenly everything we knew and understood about life changes, it’s massive. Try to pace yourself and give in to sleeping as your body and mind must need it to cope.
I have improved my diet which has really helped, it’s one of the only things I have control over so feels good. Have taken up green tea, seeds, fresh fruit, smoothies and salmon plus dropped coffee and alcohol. I know diet won’t cure cancer but does help your body heal etc
Hope all goes well with your surgery. Big hugs xxx
