I am currently undergoing 3 x 3 weekly chemo and I have 12 weekly chemo sessions starting in May.
can anyone please update me as to do you have to do weekly covid tests, blood tests and weekly oncologist appointments prior to the actual weekly chemo session?
thank you and take care everyone

In my area, covid tests are not required.
Blood tests are done prior to each treatment. Oncologist appointment prior to each cycle.
A cycle may consist of one treatment, but can consist of more. when I was on my first chemo regime each cycle was three treatments. On my second chemo regime each cycle was one treatment only. As a result, with my first chemo I saw the oncologist once every four weeks, and with the second chemo I saw him every fortnight.
Best to ask your nurse how they are planning to run your treatment.
