Hope your all OK to say its a roller coaster is an understatement isn't it x
Absolutely. Had my hollistic needs assessment via telephone call today. I'm 8 weeks post op, doing well physically, only had my first FEC chemo last week. Think it's probably too early to see how I'm doing, prior to any build up of side effects and impending hair loss. Answered questions fairly honestly now, but do feel things will hit me much worse later on. Mentally, bit of a mess some days.
I know you have lots of chats with consultants etc before you go in for anything, but I don't think anything can fully prepare you for what you're about to be hit with! Realising this slowly. Having a better week so far, last week was awful and I was utterly miserable after my first chemo. Hoping to talk through the issues and get something put in place to help before the next lot!
