Hi, I started taking Letrozole 3 weeks ago and after a week found I was getting bone pain, not severe and not constant but enough to be irritating.  It's mainly in the collarbone but also ribs and shoulders, does anyone else get this?

Thanks

  • Pain in joints and muscles is very common on aromatase inhibiters. I get sore feet but that wears off as soon as I walk around. My bad pain is in my wrists.

They told me to give it 6 months and feet pain has definitely eased off in that time.

The brand of pill can make a big difference too so keep a track and you may find you're better on some brands than others.

I know someone that was on letrozole for 5 years and they said once they came off it, the pain went, so that is keeping me going!

Thank you for replying, it’s not bad pain so I can live with it - I think this diagnosis has turned me into a hypochondriac, I question every niggle Scream x

  • I am the same !!  I have started having oncology counselling to help.  Only been once xx
