Picc line and first chemo

I also had mine fitted yesterday and as you say was no way near as bad as I thought it would be ,the nurses were brilliant  we had a right good natter throughout it all.

My chemo starts Tuesday,thanks for the advice on the sweets and water  ,I'll be stocking up !

I was really surprised how easy it was and we had a good natter too, 2 coffees and a packet of Bourbons.

I'm getting 3 EC then 3 Docetaxel  then radio therapy 

Mine starts Tuesday too. FEC x 3, then Docetaxalx 3 plus Herceptin injections for 18 cycles. Then Radiotherapy too. We CAN do this!! On countdown now. They're reducing the E drug by 80% for me as suffer with Atrial Fibrillation. 

I'm having 3 EC then 12 Pacitaxil followed by radio. Good luck.

No PICC line, so cannula in back of hand. Little uncomfortable but okay. Feeling fine, bit tired and fuzzy head/ache. Did take anti sickness pills so no nausea up to now. Did drink loads, pink pee atm, did suck sweets for 1 drug. Hoping this isn't the calm before the storm. Jo 

I've felt exactly the same. Just waiting for the storm - maybe we won't get one that would be good.

Still feeling not too bad, day 2. Headache/sinus face pain. Achy legs/knees but on the whole pretty reasonable. Better nights sleep would have been good, was awake at 3.15 am. 

Nervous about starting Filgastrim injections tomorrow. Neighbour is ex nurse so going to do first one for me, show my hubby and he'll do them moving forwards
