Post mastectomy seroma

Hi Caz2005 I had a seroma after lumpectomy.  It was drained and like yours it immediately returned.  I was told I could have it drained again but best not to unless I really couldn't bear it because chances were it would keep coming back and each time it's drained there wold be a risk of introducing an infection.  It did eventually go but it took a few months before it shrunk enough for me not to feel it any more and almost a year before it was fully gone - it could still be seen at my 9month ultrasound check but I couldn't feel it.

Try and hang in there if you can, it should eventually go.

Yes I was told to try and avoid further drainage. Gotta be patient I know. Thanks for replying xx

I did but it did go down. 

I've seen on a page today about a gua sha stone which is good for lymphatic drainage which I'm tempted to buy to help with the remainder of mine 

Hi. I had a mastectomy 6 days ago and I am having an issue with seroma now, that seems to be getting a bit worse each day. Mine hasn’t been drained yet. Please will you tell me the details of that stone / the thread in question? X

I bought mine in superdrug from their naturally radiant range (currently bogof or was on Sunday)

Rose quartz roller and rose quartz gua sha stone 

Mine arrived on Tuesday. I've used it for the past couple of days. Quite good also on my arm where the nerves were cut for the Axillary clearance
