Hello All,

Today was the day for the result from my biopsy. My appointment at the hospital was scheduled for 1:30pm. We woke at 5:30am and did our usual devotion and prayers.

When I had my biopsy the nurse had said if they found nothing serious they would call me prior to my appointment to cancel the appointment; but as I hadn't received a call I reluctantly resigned myself to the thought that it might not be good news.

By 11:30am I was dressed and preparing questions I wanted to ask the doctors at the appointment. Alison Hammond from This Morning was on the television in the background; talking about ....you guessed it .....Breast Cancer; apparently; a new breakthrough treatment had been found for HER2 specific cancer (my type of cancer). I stopped what I was doing and started to focus intently to what they were saying; I felt a surge of panic, then immediately a very quiet calm came over me. I sent another silence prayer up to God.

At 12:15pm my phone rang; it was my BC nurse; she took me through the usual checks to ensure I was who I said I was; then she said the most wonderful words I have heard in a vert  long time.....she said "the test shows that your lump is BENIGN; and is only SCAR tissues"....... I was in shock; the tears started rolling; it was fantastic. My husband was beside me by now; we hugged; we cried; we hugged and cried for quite a while.

What great news !!!!!   God does answer prayers. I'm also very very grateful to the doctors and BC nurses for the fantastic work they do.

For everyone awaiting their results - I pray and hope you have similiar results.  Thank you all for your support - it really helped me.  I'm new to this forum but now have first hand experience of how it helps when you're going through the worrying or difficult times   -  I hope to be there for you too.
