CT scan shows infected lymph nodes ?

Hey!

Mine weren't picked up on my CT scan but were on my MRI. I'm still not 100% sure what a CT scan looks for - I was just happy to hear it was clear.

Hi, the CT scan I had was thoracic, abdomen and pelvis.  I would have thought it would be looking for any abnormality in these areas, including lymph nodes x

Yeah same as mine then 

I just wondered if they would show up , don’t know why I need to know , I can’t change anything , just feel clueless

It's horrible isn't it. I hope you are able to relax a bit over the weekend (it's not easy I know!). Have you recently been diagnosed? I'm waiting on the results of my lumpectomy and SNB and trying to put it to the back of my mind but easier said than done!

Since being diagnosed in September I have had plenty of meltdowns.  I try and stay positive but it is so hard.  It is hard not being in control of what is happening and the waiting for results is the worst thing ever.

Have you a plan of treatment yet? Or will you get that on Monday? 

Yeah diagnosed officially on 2nd Feb but pretty much knew the previous week 

hope you’re doing ok after your lumpectomy ? The waiting is horrible isn’t it

I’ve already been given an idea of a plan but it all depends on these results , just going in circles driving myself crazy

Oh you're in the very worst bit. I promise it gets better once you have a plan in place. I hope you're doing OK and that Monday comes round quickly.

The surgery was OK. I was happy to have another part of treatment completed. I'm 6 months into my diagnosis and I've done 8 rounds of chemo. I feel like I'm having a small cancer break before I get my results and the next plan in place.
