Hi there
Does anyone have severe pain from spinal tumour due to metastasis from aggressive breast cancer ?
thanks and hugs
A spinal tumour can cause severe pain, but not all severe pains in that area are due to mets. If the patient has a diagnosis of a spinal tumour their consultant should be made aware of the severity of pain so help can be given. If there is no such diagnosis again the pain and its severity should be mentioned so that the medical team can assess if this is in response to current treatment or a separate issue entirely.
As for dealing with the pain in the meantime, any non-prescribed pain-killers are best checked first with the medical team. Complementary therapies can sometimes help, and some people find heat/cold or certain support pillows of some help.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
