Feeling really quite ill after lumpectomy on Thursday

I was told to ring 111 if I was concerned over a weekend as they can assess you over the phone and prescribe antibiotics if they think there might be an infection there.  If nothing else it might give you some peace of mind to talk through your symptoms and get some reassurance from them.  I didn't suffer like this after mine, give them a call.  Hope you soon feel better.

Yes exercises going fine yesterday. Today I can't face them.   Eventually got an answer on 111 and now waiting for someone to call back.

Well got taken into hospital Sunday afternoon.  Very very poorly, temp 40.1 by Monday.  Breast scarlet and so swollen and red hot..

Took about a cup of coffee worth of brown red liquid out of it yesterday.

Being treated for sepsis. 

Breast still hard,  hot so so painful.

They may need to operate again...they have taken culture's they are growing in the lab.

Today my temp is 39 and the first day I've been able to pick up my phone.

Not a happy experience

Oh no! What a nightmare for you. I truly hope you are on the mend, as if you didn’t have enough on your plate. Sending you lots of healing wishes, I am sure you will feel better each day now. Stay strong x
