  • Hello Casput

I am not in your position so no real advice but I just wanted to reach out with love to you. Let us know how you get on. You fought the first lot and I am sure you will beat this too. Hope it isn't too painful but if it is hope you have effective medication. Hope too you have a good supportive network to get you to help you through. Thinking of youxx

  • Hello Casput,  i had breast cancer 20 years ago, was treated and thought I was cured!  Last year I was having bad back ache and eventually was diagnosed with cancer in my spine and sternum.  A nasty shock to say the least!  I have got my head around this now to some extent.  I am on Palbociclib and Letrozole tablets.  I also have Infusions to “mend”. the bones.  Once you start on the medication I think things and thoughts settle.  I was told by the Doctors that this is treatable and know that women with this diagnosis can live for many years.  If the one set of medication doesnt work then there are many more that can be tried.  I hope all goes well for you.  Hugsx

  • Hi Casput I’m so sorry to hear of your diagnosis.  I just wanted to let you know there’s a secondary breast cancer group you can join on this site in addition to this group where you might find support from even more people in a similar situation to you.  I believe these days secondary cancer can be viewed more like a chronic disease in many cases ie like diabetes which can be managed and treated. Sending love xx

  • Hi, so sorry to hear of your diagnosis.  There is a specific group for secondary breast cancer and whilst you will get lots of support on here, this might also be a bit of help.  Best wishes
