Mastectomy and reconstruction on 21st December

You can see all details of my profile but I had a delayed DIEP following mx the previous year Dec 2020. My breast and stomach felt decidedly uncomfortable for a number of weeks after the DIEP, its a major operation for our poor bodies after all so is to be expected.  I recovered really well, in part to being healthy but also doing the prescribed exercises religiously (really important to regain flexibility).

I’ve just had (4 weeks ago) phase 2 of the DIEP and my breast feels like yours and I (only!!) had some fat taken out & nipple created!

Give it a while and it will feel less uncomfortable but may be worth just checking with your BCN.
