Hi, as usual I am up against another problem and turn here for help and support.
I have been on anastrozole for 8 months with various side effects to get used to.
I have a new one started in early December very painful feet. I feel I have run a marathon, my feet are so painful.
I have a dog and walk a lot this side effect is worrying me, should I try and continue to walk thru the pain? Should I just put my feet up and wait for it to pass. And hope it does, not really a viable option!
Any advice please
Warm regards
Helen
Hi Helen
I'm also on anastrozole (only 6 weeks in) which is why I looked at your post. Are you sure it's a side effect? Just wondering if it's plantar fasciitis which I had about a year ago and sounds similar. In the end I got rid of it by changing the shoes I wore most of the time. This was before I was on anastrozole.
Hope you are able to find a resolution soon x
Hi I’m on Anastrozole & the joint ache started after a month. I think it’s quite common. It’s mainly my knees & hands but comes and goes in my feet. Im trying Glucosamine sulphate supplement to see if this helps. I checked with my breast cancer nurse first. Only been taking a few weeks … not noted it easing yet.
