Does anyone else find that on tamoxifen ( and maybe other hormone suppressants) that their skin has become quite dry. Always moisturise day and night inc the boobs but have noticed how dry my skin gets. Am a regular user of E45 cream and lotion. Anyone else? Any other good recommendations for plainish non perfumed lotions? Thanks

  • I don't know but personally when I read E45 ingredients, it has quite a lot of chemical stuff, so i dont use that even though NHS dishes them out. I prefer to buy something more natural with very few ingredients, perfume free of course.

Apparently this is one I heard other ladies have used, you can read reviews before deciding to buy on Amazon: Udderly Smooth - Udder Cream - Body Cream Dry Skin Moisturiser

I also read somewhere that creams are better than lotion in that they absorb better into the skin. Although I use lotion right now.

  • Old fashioned remedy, but have you tried applying baby oil to wet skin immediately after a shower? It’s about as basic as you can get. I’ve only been on Tamoxifen 2 weeks so I currently have acne, greasy hair and dry skin all at the same time. I’m hoping it’ll settle down especially my hair which is like Worsel Gummidge
