Hi, I was diagnosed in 2012 with breast cancer. Discharged May this year, started getting upper back pain, made a nuisance of myself with Gp. Now we have been told I have recurrence, spine, liver and rib. Needless to say my emotions are all over the place.
It's all happening quickly, have had lots of imaging tests this week, quick burst of radiation to ease swelling on spine. Medication to ease swelling and control pain. Next see oncologist Monday, to set my treatment plan.
Glad I have your support would love to hear similar stories

Hello Karen. Damn. Good that you insisted with the GP, not really great about the outcome. My own story is different, but I have been through the, "there are mets," so I have some idea. Are you open to some questions? Mostly I am wondering why it took them nine years to discharge you, what scans or follow up they did during this time that managed to miss it all until you complained of pain, and how they verified that the trouble in the spine, rib, and liver is indeed a recurrence rather than fresh-something-else.
