Hi
Has anyone taking endocrine therapy noticed increased tummy fat. I know that the body just wants to try and make oestrogen by laying down tummy fat but my tummy looks ridiculous and I am trying quite hard to keep my diet in check. I am an older woman but this seems to be yet another burden to bear because of cancer Any input much appreciated.
Take care xxx
Hi I know exactly what you mean. I had a double mastectomy and look as if my cup K/j breast have migrated to my stomach. What really rubs it in is when I am told my joint and urinary problems would lessen of I lost weight. I wish.
A any magic bullets please let me know I don't eat much processed food and I walk for 45 mins a day and do cardio for 20 mins each day.
Last year I went on a diet Keto it was the best thing I did I lost 8 stone and I was as healthy as I have ever been . I'm back on it now as I have another 2 stone to lose. . I know that lots of people don't like keto but I believe that it's very healthy. After months of research. My oncologist didn't bat an eyelid when I told her that I don't go anywhere near surgar in fact she was pleased. But sugar is in almost everything. So it's difficult the only acception I make is for vegetables. I suppose we just have to keep at it but it's not easy
