Hi I wonder if anyone has had strange little pains in their breast. I am awaiting full diagnosis and treatment plan. I have had biopsy 3 weeks ago and today I am having lots of niggle pains and discomfort. Is this normal or has the biopsy started something ?
Three weeks seems a long time for something to express itself, but if you are being seen soon you should mention it when you see the specialist so it's known and can be taken care of as needed. Do you know who your next appointment is with, and when? If not, have you been given contact information for a nurse?
Hi Jinks. It’s interesting what you say. I had my biopsies on 5th October and like you am waiting treatment plan (I see the surgeon tomorrow), since then I have had niggling pains in my breast and armpit. I can’t decide whether it’s a result of the biopsy or something else. Ros.
I did after the biopsies, told the Nurse and she said this could be something to do with all the little nerves we have in the breast. She said a tumour wouldn't be painful. I did prod mine, once, in an angry moment generally with it once whilst getting ready for an appt - then wished I hadn't.
